Kate Hudson Shines on Variety Cover Celebrating Power of Women

Variety has announced the honorees for its upcoming Power of Women issue, set to release on Wednesday, October 29, with a celebration taking place the same evening in Beverly Hills.

Partnering with Lifetime, the event honors women making an impact in entertainment and features leaders highlighted in Variety’s annual Women’s Impact Report.

This year’s honorees include a group of talented and influential women. Jamie Lee Curtis, an Oscar and Emmy-winning actress, will appear on the cover while promoting her upcoming film Ella McCay, opening in theaters on December 12.

Curtis also produced The Lost Bus with Jason Blum, set to release in theaters on September 19 and on Apple TV+ on October 3. She supports Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Academy Award-nominated actress and Golden Globe winner Kate Hudson also appears on the cover, stunning in a bold and elegant photoshoot that captures her energy and charisma.

Hudson stars in Focus Features’ Song Sung Blue, opening December 25, and is currently working as star and executive producer on the second season of Netflix’s Running Point. She supports the World Food Programme (WFP).

Nicole Scherzinger, Tony Award-winning singer and frontwoman of The Pussycat Dolls, recently performed in Sunset Blvd and will make her Carnegie Hall debut on October 8. She supports Special Olympics.

Emmy-winning comedian and actress Wanda Sykes, who stars in and executive produces Netflix’s The Upshaws and is currently on her global Please & Thank You tour, supports the Ruth Ellis Center. Emmy-nominated actress and producer Sydney Sweeney, starring in Black Bear’s biopic Christy on November 7 and Lionsgate’s thriller The Housemaid on December 19, supports the National Center on Domestic and Sexual Violence.

Variety’s Power of Women issue and event celebrate these accomplished women not just for their work on screen and stage, but also for the causes they champion. Kate Hudson’s presence on the cover is particularly striking, showing her confidence, style, and the excitement surrounding her upcoming projects.
