Kelsey Grammer has welcomed his eighth child at the age of 70. The actor and his wife, Kayte Walsh, 46, recently became parents to a baby boy named Christopher.

Grammer shared the news during the Oct. 27 episode of the Pod Meets World podcast, hosted by Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and Rider Strong.

Talking about his family on the podcast, Grammer said, “Just had our fourth one, so it just became eight kids. It was like three days ago. Christopher that’s just joined the family.”

Grammer and Walsh now have four children together: daughter Faith, 12, and sons Gabriel, 10, James, 8, and now Christopher. Grammer also has four other children from previous relationships, including daughter Spencer, 41, with his first wife Doreen Alderman, and daughter Greer, 33, with ex Barrie Buckner.

The actor has been married four times. His second marriage to Leigh-Anne Csuhany ended in an annulment, and he later married Tammi Baliszewski and Camille Donatacci. He and Donatacci share two children, Mason and Jude, born via a gestational carrier. Grammer married Kayte Walsh in 2011, two weeks after his third marriage ended. They previously experienced a miscarriage in 2010 before welcoming their first child together in 2012.

In June, it was revealed that Walsh was expecting their fourth child together, marking Grammer’s eighth overall. The family recently relocated to Portishead, Somerset, England, Walsh’s hometown.
