Ace is a fan-favorite character known for his fiery powers, strong sense of loyalty, and deep connection to Luffy. He’s a seasoned pirate, having sailed the seas for years before his younger brother ever set out on his journey. His appearance in the story marks one of the most emotional and action-packed arcs in the One Piece saga, making this casting a major moment for fans.
Maridueña has quickly built an impressive career over the years. Besides his breakout role as Miguel Diaz in Cobra Kai and his superhero debut in Blue Beetle, he’s also done extensive voice acting work. His credits include Fast & Furious Spy Racers, Invincible, The Boys Presents: Diabolical, and Batwheels.
This news comes shortly after another exciting casting announcement, Tony Award-winning actor Cole Escola will portray Bon Clay, also known as Mr. 2, in the same season. With these additions, One Piece continues to grow its strong cast as it sails into its next chapter.
