This fall, the Avengers are back, but this time, things are getting a little more… catty. The new animated special LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails is set to hit Disney+ on November 14, bringing a mix of superhero action, LEGO humor, and a full-on feline twist.

According to Disney, the two-part series follows the Avengers as they face a very modern kind of chaos — the internet. When a crafty influencer turns their battles into viral livestreams, the team suddenly finds themselves fighting not just villains, but the world of social media fame.

The story kicks off with a brawl between Magneto and the Avengers that ends up being broadcast live for millions to see. The influencer behind it all isn’t satisfied with just one viral hit and decides to create something even bigger — a showdown that pits cats against Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. To handle the trouble, Hawkeye and Black Panther team up with three cat-powered allies: Tigra, Black Cat, and White Tiger.

LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails features a stacked voice cast. Troy Baker returns as Hawkeye, joined by Alia Shawkat as Meryet, James Mathis III as Black Panther, Mick Wingert as Iron Man, Roger Craig Smith as Captain America, Laura Bailey as Black Widow, and Jason Alexander as Magneto.

The show is directed by Ken Cunningham, written by Eugene Son and Henry Gilroy, and executive produced by Jason Cosler, Harrison Wilcox, Jill Wilfert, Keith Malone, Son, and Gilroy.

It sounds like this LEGO adventure will have plenty of fun moments, action scenes, and a few jokes about internet culture. The idea of the Avengers battling social media with the help of cat heroes feels fresh and silly in the best way.
