Bad Bunny is making history at the Grammys again. His latest album, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” (“I Should Have Taken More Photos”), earned him six nominations, including three of the most prestigious categories: album of the year, song of the year, and record of the year.

According to Grammy announcements, this makes Bad Bunny the first Spanish-language artist to appear across all three in the same year and only the second ever to appear in the song and record of the year categories.

The album’s title track is also up for best música urbana album, best album cover, and best global music performance for the song “EoO.” The 17-song record, released on January 5 through Rimas Entertainment, explores Puerto Rican folk music, known as música jíbara, and tackles themes of cultural pride and political resistance.

This marks another milestone following his 2025 Grammy nomination for his previous album, “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana,” which competed in the música urbana album category. Over the summer, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” fueled a 31-date residency in Puerto Rico, cementing its cultural impact.

Bad Bunny has previously won three Grammys, two for música urbana album and one for Latin pop album, and has received 10 nominations in total. At the Latin Grammys, taking place on November 13, he leads all nominees with 12 nods, including album, song, and record of the year for “Debí Tirar Más Fotos.”
