Bruce Willis Seen in Rare Public Outing, Accompanied by Caregiver
Bruce Willis was seen out and about in Los Angeles this week, marking one of the few times the actor has been spotted in public since being diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023. The 70-year-old “Die Hard” star was photographed taking a walk near the beach, looking relaxed and casual as he enjoyed the fresh air.
Wearing sunglasses, a gray shirt, tan pants, and white sneakers, Willis appeared calm and comfortable. Even though he now lives with a serious brain condition, the Hollywood icon still carries himself with his trademark confidence.

His wife, Emma Heming Willis, and ex-wife, Demi Moore, were not with him on the West Coast. Instead, they were in New York City, where they attended a benefit concert for FTD awareness in his honor. The event included performances by Keith Richards, Norah Jones, and Mavis Staples, all coming together to support the cause and celebrate Willis’s life and career.
Willis, who has been retired from acting since his diagnosis, is reportedly doing well physically. In an earlier interview with ABC News, Emma shared that her husband remains in “really great health overall.”
The actor’s family, including his daughters and ex-wife, has been open about his condition and their efforts to raise awareness for FTD, a rare and challenging form of dementia that affects behavior, speech, and movement.
It’s heartwarming to see Bruce out enjoying life despite his illness. His family’s love and support clearly mean everything during this time.
