Red Dead Redemption and its zombie spin-off, Undead Nightmare, are coming to more players than ever, including mobile devices, current-generation consoles, and Netflix, Rockstar Games has announced.

Both games will be available starting December 2, with free upgrades for existing owners and several improvements to gameplay and graphics.

Players will step into John Marston’s story right after the events of Red Dead Redemption 2.

The main game follows Marston as he tries to leave his violent past behind, while Undead Nightmare adds a horror twist, letting players fight to survive a zombie outbreak. Both versions include the full single-player campaigns and bonus content from the Game of the Year Edition.

For the first time, Red Dead Redemption will be available on iOS and Android with mobile-friendly controls, allowing fans to play on the go. Netflix subscribers can also download and play the games as part of their subscription starting December 2.

Next-generation consoles will get enhanced experiences. Players on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S can enjoy 60 frames per second, improved graphics, HDR support, and up to 4K resolution.

The Nintendo Switch 2 versions use the hardware fully, offering DLSS, HDR, mouse controls, and smooth 60fps gameplay at high resolution. Players who already own the PS4, original Switch, or Xbox One digital versions can upgrade for free, and previous save data can carry over so players can continue where they left off.

The updated versions were developed with help from Double Eleven and Cast Iron Games. They will also be available in the GTA+ Games Library and the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on December 2.
