YouTuber Brandon Buckingham Hospitalized in Critical Condition: “Things Are Not Looking Good”

YouTuber Brandon Buckingham is facing a dangerous health crisis and has told fans he is now in the intensive care unit. The 30‑year‑old creator shared the update on X, where he explained that several of his organs are failing.

According to Buckingham, doctors are trying to understand what caused the sudden decline.

He wrote on Friday that his body was struggling on multiple levels. In his words, “In the ICU, my heart is failing, my lungs are failing, my liver and kidneys are failing. Things are not looking good my friends. I love you guys.” His message quickly spread across the platform as fans and other creators posted prayers and support.

This update arrived only two days after he first told followers that doctors suspected he might be dealing with tuberculosis, septic pneumonia, or even liver failure. At the time, he kept his message short and asked for help from his community, saying, “Pray for me guys.”

Just a week earlier, Buckingham had posted a hopeful message saying his condition had improved. He shared a photo from a hospital bed on November 10, explaining that he had been released.

He wrote, “Thank you to everyone who has been praying for me. I sincerely appreciate it. I’m out of the hospital for now and my condition seems to have stabilized. God willing, in a few weeks I will be able to start improving.” That short moment of progress was followed by his sudden return to the ICU.

Buckingham has more than 1 million subscribers on YouTube and is known for his documentary‑style work and street interviews. Fans were already worried after he opened up about his mental health struggles in late September.

In an emotional Instagram note, he explained that he had been feeling overwhelmed and had pulled away from friends. He also shared that he had recently lost his grandmother. He wrote, “I haven’t been in a good place for a bit… I am struggling with my mental health… I just got the call my grandma passed away this morning… I love you grandma, say hi to Kyle for me.”

That message brought a wave of comfort from followers, many of whom expressed concern and wished him healing.

At this time, it’s not clear what caused Buckingham’s health issues or how long he has been sick. His recent updates show that his condition has changed quickly, and fans are hoping for another sign of improvement.
