'The Beatles Anthology' (1995–1996)
Capitol Records

Arrives Wednesday, 11/26 on Disney+. This multi-part documentary series chronicles the band’s rise and career using extensive archival footage and first-person interviews with John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr; it was originally directed by Geoff Wonfor and Bob Smeaton, with longtime Beatles aide Neil Aspinall among the producers. The 2025 remaster adds a new ninth episode and was prepared for a late-2025 streaming debut on Disney+, with Oliver Murray contributing to the new material and Peter Jackson’s team involved in remastering, marking the series’ 30th-anniversary celebration. The project complements the group’s ‘Anthology’ music releases curated by Giles Martin, which revisit “Free as a Bird” and “Real Love” alongside session outtakes.

Little Angel

Arrives Sunday, 11/30 on Disney+. The animated preschool series follows Baby John and his family through short, music-led stories that blend original songs and nursery rhymes to introduce everyday routines and social-emotional lessons. Produced by Moonbug Entertainment—the company behind ‘CoComelon’ and other kids’ hits—the show features voice talent such as Gracia Damsgard (Baby John) and Jenny W. Chan (Jill), and has released multiple volumes across streamers following its YouTube success. In 2025, Moonbug announced the series’ broader rollout onto Disney+ in many regions, reflecting its expanding platform presence.

‘Mickey 17’ (2025)

'Mickey 17' (2025)
Warner Bros. Pictures

Arrives Wednesday, 11/26 on Amazon Prime. Bong Joon Ho writes and directs this adaptation of Edward Ashton’s novel ‘Mickey7’, centered on an “Expendable” colonist whose body can be regenerated after each fatal mission on the ice world Niflheim. Robert Pattinson leads the cast as Mickey, joined by Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo, with Darius Khondji as cinematographer and Jung Jae-il composing the score. Production was handled by Plan B and partners, with the film blending dark comedy and science-fiction themes that echo Bong’s interest in class and survival. Creature design in the film includes “creepers,” a Niflheim species whose look Bong has discussed as drawing inspiration from croissants and armadillos.
