The third season will introduce several new characters. Cole Escola has been cast as Bon Clay, a member of Baroque Works, while Xolo Maridueña will play Portgas D. Ace, a young pirate and the brother of Luffy.
In addition, Hoover, Manganiello, Abova, and Ramamurthy have all been promoted to series regulars for the upcoming season, adding more continuity and depth to the cast.
Netflix renewed the series for a third season back in August, even before the second season premiered, signaling the company’s confidence in the live-action adaptation. Fans of the series are eagerly anticipating the new season, with the production update serving as a clear sign that the adventure of the Straw Hats will continue.
