Uncut and Unbothered: Kevin Hart’s Viral Ziwe Answer To Controversial Parenting Question Wins Over Fans
Kevin Hart spoke about a viral social media question during a recent appearance on Ziwe’s webseries, which aired on Monday, November 24.
The interview touched on several topics, including Hart’s thoughts on LGBTQ issues and how he approaches conversations about identity.
During their talk, Ziwe asked Hart playful but pointed questions, including one about his “favorite letter” in the LGBTQIA acronym.
Hart didn’t give a direct answer and instead joked with her, saying, “The fact that you would want me to answer that says a lot about you,” and teasing that she was “the problem.” Ziwe pushed back, asking if he really meant that, and Hart replied, “Well, I’m not going to say you’re the solution. Game on.”
Later, the conversation shifted to the online debate about raising a “gay son or thot daughter.” Hart, who is a father of four, dismissed the idea of choosing between those labels. He explained that what matters to him is simply his kids’ well-being, saying, “I would rather have two healthy kids. Like, it doesn’t matter to me.”
He also pointed out that the way the question is framed says more about the person asking it than the person answering. He added, “I think the real problem is in the thinker, not the answerer.”

Ziwe also brought up Hart’s past controversies involving homophobic jokes and asked whether he felt he owed the gay community an apology.
Hart said he believes in taking responsibility for his actions and explained that accountability has been important for him. He told her, “You don’t have to constantly do something if you’re accountable and you are strong enough to stand in whatever the line of fire is.” He said he has shown accountability to people in his life, including family, friends, and gay people who were affected by his past comments.
