Amazon has shared a new teaser for the second season of Fallout, giving fans their first real look at what’s coming next. The new chapter of the post-apocalyptic drama arrives on December 17, with new episodes rolling out weekly until early February 2026.

The show continues to follow survivors trying to rebuild their lives hundreds of years after a nuclear war destroyed society. Season two brings back Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Xelia Mendes-Jones, and Walton Goggins. Amazon has also confirmed that the story will move into New Vegas, a major location from the video game series that inspired the show.

Amazon renewed the series soon after the success of the first season, and showrunners Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet are returning. The new season will widen the world even more and introduce new groups linked to the games.

Casting news for season two includes Macaulay Culkin, who joined the show in late 2024 in a recurring role described as a “crazy genius” type, according to reports. This year, Justin Theroux was also announced as part of the cast, playing Robert House, a character longtime fans will recognize from Fallout: New Vegas.

With the release date set and a fresh teaser now out, Amazon is building excitement for what looks like a bigger and more ambitious season.

Expanding into New Vegas is a smart move, especially for fans who loved that part of the game world. It feels like the show is growing in the right direction. What do you think about the new teaser and the direction of season two? Share your thoughts in the comments.
