Millie Bobby Brown Drops Her Last Names, Reveals New Legal Name
Millie Bobby Brown has officially changed her name following her marriage to Jake Bongiovi. The “Stranger Things” star shared the news during a recent interview with VT alongside her co-star Noah Schnapp.
In the interview, Schnapp was asked, “Noah, what is Millie’s full name?” He answered, “Millie Bonnie Brown.”
Brown then corrected him, explaining that her name had changed after getting married. When Schnapp guessed, “Millie Bonnie Bongiovi Brown,” she told him to simplify it. “Drop the Bobby [and] drop the Brown. It’s just Millie Bonnie Bongiovi,” she said. “That’s it.”
Brown, 21, and Bongiovi, 23, married in a private ceremony in May 2023 after three years of dating. Later that year, they held a second celebration in Italy where Brown reportedly wore four different dresses.
The couple expanded their family this summer, announcing on Instagram that they had adopted a baby girl. In their post, they wrote, “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3.” While the baby’s name hasn’t been officially revealed, photos from a recent walk in the Hamptons suggest a clue. Brown was seen carrying a pink phone case with the letters “R,” “W,” and “B,” with “B” likely representing her daughter’s last initial.
