Robert Downey Jr. had a playful moment with Gwyneth Paltrow during The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment event this week.

He was on stage to honor her as she received the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award, but he also used the moment to remind everyone of her well-known habit of forgetting details from her time in the Marvel films.

While speaking to the audience, Downey Jr. said Paltrow once didn’t recognize Tom Holland, even though she had acted with him more than once.

He said she looked at him and asked, “Who’s that?” Downey Jr. told the crowd that he replied, “That’s Spider-Man. He said his name was Peter. His character’s name is Peter. He’s Tom Holland. You’ve done four movies with him.”

After the joke, Downey Jr. also talked about how hard Paltrow worked during their years together in the Marvel franchise. He said she managed to build her Goop brand during breaks on set while still taking care of her family and keeping up her acting work.

Paltrow and Downey Jr. played Pepper Potts and Tony Stark from the first Iron Man movie all the way through Avengers: Endgame. Even with that long history, Paltrow has often gone viral for forgetting whether she appeared in certain Marvel movies. Fans have joked for years that she may be the only person who can star in a blockbuster and not remember it later.

Paltrow and Holland appeared in several films together, including The Avengers, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
