‘Wonder Man’: Trevor Slattery Steals the Spotlight in New Promo
The new promo for Wonder Man has just come out, and it highlights Trevor Slattery in a fun way. The series is created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest, and it is based on the Marvel Comics character. Marvel Studios confirmed that the show follows the same timeline as the movies.
The story focuses on Simon Williams, a struggling actor who is trying hard to land the lead part in a new remake of a movie called Wonder Man. He is not alone in the race, because Trevor Slattery is also in the mix. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II plays Simon Williams, while Ben Kingsley returns as Trevor Slattery. The show also includes Arian Moayed, X Mayo, Zlatko Burić, Olivia Thirlby, and Byron Bowers.

Filming began in early April 2023 in Los Angeles. Production was paused in late May due to the Writers Guild of America strike happening at the time. Work picked up again in January 2024, and the show wrapped filming in April 2024. Marvel Studios officially revealed the series in October 2024.
The show is expected to arrive on Disney+ on January 27, 2026. It will have eight episodes and be part of Phase Six of the MCU. Marvel Studios said it will release the series under the Marvel Spotlight label. The main premise of the show is simple: two actors, Simon Williams and Trevor Slattery, are trying to win roles in the remake of the Wonder Man superhero movie.
