‘The Night Manager’ Season 2 Trailer Teases Deadly Conspiracy
Tom Hiddleston returns as Jonathan Pine in the new season of The Night Manager, and the latest trailer shows him caught in another dangerous mission.
Now living a quiet life in London under the name Alex Goodwin, Pine’s ordinary days end when he spots a former mercenary. This leads him straight to Teddy Dos Santos, a Colombian businessman and arms dealer played by Diego Calva.
Angela Burr, played again by Olivia Colman, pushes Pine back into action. She wants him to help uncover a major arms operation. Pine gets help from Roxana Bolaños, a businesswoman played by Camila Morrone.
She is hesitant at first but guides him into Dos Santos’ network. Pine soon realizes the operation is bigger and more dangerous than he imagined, involving plans to train a guerrilla army. At one point in the trailer, Pine tells Burr, “You lied to me.” She replies, “I had no choice. I saw a chance to nail investors, the politicians, the whole rotten bunch.”
