Amazon’s “Fallout” series is returning sooner than fans expected. The streaming giant announced on Monday that the second season will now premiere on Tuesday, December 16 at 6 p.m. PT, one day earlier than the previously planned release of December 17.

Amazon revealed the updated date through a creative collaboration with the Exosphere of Sphere in Las Vegas.

The company transformed the Sphere into a post-apocalyptic snow globe, featuring popular characters like Lucy, Maximus, and The Ghoul. A giant Deathclaw even appeared as part of the display, adding a dramatic touch to the announcement.

Season 2 continues the story after the cliffhanger ending of the first season, following the survivors as they journey through the Mojave wasteland toward the ruined city of New Vegas. Fans can expect more action, danger, and the unique post-apocalyptic world that made the series popular.

The new season stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner.

The show is based on the acclaimed video game franchise by Bethesda Game Studios, set in a world two hundred years after a nuclear apocalypse. In this world, people who lived in luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated wasteland left behind by their ancestors. The universe they encounter is dangerous, strange, and full of surprises.

“We’re excited to bring fans back into the Fallout universe earlier than expected,” said Amazon in a statement. “Season 2 will take audiences on a journey full of adventure, danger, and discovery through the Mojave and New Vegas.”
