‘Survivor 50’ Trailer Brings Back Fan Favorites and Big Celebrity Cameos
CBS has released the first official trailer for Survivor’s 50th season, giving fans a first look at the milestone season. The trailer highlights the new “In the Hands of the Fans” theme, returning players, and several celebrity appearances. It aired during the season 49 finale After Show.
The teaser confirms that Savannah Louie, the winner of season 49, and standout strategist Rizo Velovic will return to the game. The trailer opens with a quote from longtime player Benjamin “Coach” Wade, giving a sense of the show’s history. Mike White, creator of White Lotus and a former contestant, is also part of the cast.
Celebrity cameos will play a role this season. Singer Zac Brown and YouTuber MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) are set to appear, along with Jimmy Fallon and Billie Eilish. Players are aware of the fan-driven twist, which is expected to shape gameplay in new ways.
Host and executive producer Jeff Probst said, “[This season] will feel different from anything we’ve ever done.” The trailer shows that the combination of returning players, fan influence, and high-profile visitors will make season 50 both a celebration of the show and a fresh approach to the game.
