‘The Beauty’ Teaser Drops and It’s Wild: Ashton Kutcher and Evan Peters Star in Ryan Murphy’s Dark New Body Horror Series
FX has shared the first teaser for its upcoming series The Beauty, a new show created by Ryan Murphy. The series stars Ashton Kutcher and Evan Peters and is set to premiere early next year. The teaser gives viewers a first look at a dark story that mixes fashion, crime, and body horror.
According to FX, the show takes place in a world where beauty comes at a deadly price. The official synopsis explains that “the world of high fashion turns dark when international supermodels begin dying in gruesome and mysterious ways.”
At the center of the story is a powerful product that promises physical perfection. As the teaser hints, “Imagine a revolutionary new super-drug that makes any old face drop dead gorgeous, and everybody wants it.”

Kutcher plays a billionaire figure who is linked to the creation of the drug, known as The Beauty. Evan Peters appears as one half of a pair of undercover FBI agents sent to Europe to investigate what is really going on behind the scenes. Rebecca Hall stars alongside him as his partner. As the teaser unfolds, it becomes clear that the drug has created chaos, obsession, and violence across the fashion world.
The cast is packed with familiar faces. Along with Kutcher and Peters, the show stars Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope, and Rebecca Hall. Isabella Rossellini will appear in a recurring role. The series also includes a long list of guest stars, such as Bella Hadid, Meghan Trainor, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Billy Eichner, Vincent D’Onofrio, and many others.
The Beauty is based on a comic book series by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley. Ryan Murphy created the TV adaptation with Matt Hodgson. Both are also executive producers, along with several members of the cast, including Peters, Ramos, and Pope. FX confirmed that the series will debut on January 21, 2026, airing on FX and streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
