Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton Expand Their Family — Second Baby Arrived!
Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton have welcomed their second child, the couple confirmed in a recent interview with GQ.
The Loki star, 44, and The Marvels actress, 41, shared that the addition to their family has been a deeply moving experience. Hiddleston described the birth as “the most beautiful, profound, earth-shattering, life-altering” moment.
Ashton had previously hinted at the baby news in November on Instagram.
She shared photos of herself at a local baby bank and wrote, “Today, I chose to mark a milestone in postpartum recovery with a trip to one of the @littlevillagehq baby banks, dedicated to supporting families all year round. Throughout my recovery, I have thought deeply about the children in our world facing the most devastating living conditions and those tirelessly working to protect them. I’ve reflected deeply on the ongoing war against children, a fight I am fiercely committed to.”
The couple first revealed they were expecting their second child in June during an announcement for Vogue. At the U.K. premiere of Hiddleston’s film The Life of Chuck, Ashton proudly displayed her baby bump on the red carpet.
Hiddleston and Ashton have kept much of their private life away from the public eye. The pair first appeared together publicly at the Tony Awards in September 2021 and announced their engagement in March 2022. Their history includes performing together in 2018 at the Dickens vs. Tolstoy debate and co-starring in the 2019 revival of Harold Pinter’s play Betrayal on the West End and Broadway.
This joyful news comes three years after the couple welcomed their first child in 2022. Both actors have continued their careers while balancing family life, and fans have been eager to celebrate this new addition.
