Disney Fires Longtime Evil Queen & Agatha Harkness Actress After 8 Years of Service

If you have ever scrolled through TikTok and saw a funny video of the Evil Queen at Disneyland, you were likely watching Sabrina Von B. Over the last few years, this actress became a huge internet star for how she talked to people at the park.

According to a story from PEOPLE, Sabrina played the famous villain for eight years. Even though she also played characters like Maleficent and Agatha Harkness, it was her version of the Queen that everyone loved the most.

Sabrina told PEOPLE that it was a dream getting to do my own spin on a character that really wasn’t popular or viral or well-known before videos of me really started going around. She liked making people laugh by being a funny version of a villain. She said it was an honor to create joy for people and make people smile, all while being a villain.

Playing a Disney character is not as easy as it looks. Sabrina explained that the job was very hard on her body. She had to stay hydrated and get enough sleep to keep her energy up, especially in the California heat. She also had to do facial exercises like lifting her eyebrows and practicing her cackle before she put on the costume.

She said that flipping that cape day in and day out was not easy. Once she was ready, she would stand behind a door and let her face drop into the character. She said that at that moment, the character takes over.

While she was working at the park, Sabrina had to be very careful. Disney is very strict about keeping the magic alive, so she never told anyone her real name while she was employed there. She said it was scary because Disney wants to protect the magic, and I’ll say that I protected the magic all the way until the end. She only told her fans who she was after the park let her go. Once she was free to speak, she posted a video on TikTok that got over six million views.

Even though she does not work at the park anymore, she still has great memories. She remembers a woman who saved money to travel all the way from Japan just to see her. She also watched one little girl grow from a baby into an eight-year-old over the years they visited her. Sabrina said I’m very grateful that these parents allow me to be a part of their child’s life.

Playing the Queen also helped Sabrina feel better about herself. In real life, she is actually a shy person. She said that being so viral has helped me as a person just to be confident. She said that the spark of the Queen still lives inside of her today.

Now that she is done working for Disney, Sabrina is ready for new adventures. She is working on new acting projects and hopes to perform on Broadway or go on a big acting tour.
