Gwyneth Paltrow opened up about her son’s reaction to her steamy scenes with Timothée Chalamet in the new movie Marty Supreme, and it sounds like he did not handle it well. The actress revealed that her 19-year-old son, Moses Martin, was completely mortified when he watched the film.

During a January 9 Q&A at San Vicente Bungalows in Santa Monica, Paltrow joked about the awkward situation. “Oh my God! My poor son,” she said, describing how Moses felt sitting through her intimate scenes with Chalamet.

She added, “Can you imagine when he came to the premiere in L.A.? He wanted to die.” The story was reported by People on January 10.

Marty Supreme follows Chalamet as Marty Mauser, a salesman chasing ping-pong greatness in 1950s New York. The movie has drawn attention for its explicit content, particularly the pairing of Paltrow and Chalamet.

Photos from October 2024 showed the two filming romantic scenes in Central Park, and Paltrow has openly addressed the s** scenes in interviews. She told Vanity Fair, “I mean, we have a lot of S** in this movie. There’s a lot, a lot.”

Paltrow has previously spoken about being cautious with intimate scenes. She recalled turning down a s** scene with Ethan Hawke in Great Expectations, saying, “Oh, my God, my father’s going to have a heart attack.” She also admitted she was “really self-conscious about” her father and grandfather seeing the scene.

The Oscar-winning actress shares Moses and her 21-year-old daughter Apple with ex-husband Chris Martin. Despite the awkwardness, it seems Paltrow can laugh about the situation, highlighting the funny but embarrassing side of watching your parent on screen in intimate moments.
