Kendall Jenner Reveals Secret Baby Name List — And Says She’s Ditching Family Tradition
Kendall Jenner may be one of the few members of her famous family without a child, but the supermodel is already planning for a future that includes motherhood.
On the Friday, January 9 episode of the In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele podcast, the 30-year-old opened up about her desire to have kids and revealed she has been curating a list of potential names for years.
When asked if her future children would carry the avant-garde or “insane” monikers often associated with celebrity offspring, Jenner was quick to dismiss the idea. “I think that it’s kind of ridiculous. The whole name situation,” she told host Owen Thiele, adding that she is “so over” the pressure to choose a “nepo baby” name. Instead, the model noted that she prefers names that feel classic and grounded.
“I definitely have my list. It’s not crazy. I actually love my baby list. My baby name list,” she shared during the candid discussion. While she kept the specific names under wraps, she described her favorites as “beautiful normal names” and firmly rejected the idea of continuing the Kardashian-Jenner tradition of names starting with the letter K. “No, babe. Absolutely not,” she joked.
The conversation touched on the variety of unique yet established names she admires, citing Joaquin Phoenix and Brad Pitt as examples of “incredible” and strong names. She clarified that while she likes uniqueness, she wants to avoid names that sound like household objects. “Joaquin Phoenix is an incredible name,” Jenner said. “It’s a unique name, but it’s not, like, ‘Doorbell.’”
Despite her excitement for the future, Jenner is in no rush to change her current lifestyle. In previous interviews, she has mentioned that while she once thought she would be a mother by 27, she now feels a profound sense of “kidless freedom.” She currently views her 30s as a “me era,” choosing to focus on her personal growth after spending much of her 20s in back-to-back long-term relationships.
On the same podcast, Jenner also took the opportunity to squash persistent internet rumors regarding her personal life and sexuality. “There’s a whole side of the internet that thinks I’m a lesbian,” she stated, clarifying that she does not identify as gay but finds the hostility surrounding the speculation “really scary.” She emphasized that she is simply enjoying being single and investing in herself for the first time in a decade.
Professionally, Jenner remains the highest-paid model in the world and has just kicked off 2026 with a major new business milestone. On January 6, Emporio Armani announced Jenner as their new Global Fragrance Ambassador. She is set to front the campaign for their new scent, Power of You, which is scheduled for a worldwide launch on January 28.
In addition to her high-fashion campaigns, she continues to oversee her successful 818 Tequila brand, which saw double-digit growth throughout 2025. She also recently invited fans into her personal life in a different way, showing off her mountain sanctuary in a feature for Architectural Digest. The home reflects her current state of mind, blending rustic heritage with a sophisticated, quiet luxury that mirrors her evolving public image.
Whether she is closing major runway shows in Paris or curating her home’s vintage lighting, Jenner seems content to let her life unfold at its own pace. While the baby names remain on her phone’s notes app for now, she is clearly focused on building a legacy that is entirely her own. As she navigates this new decade, she remains one of the most influential and watched figures in both fashion and reality television.
