Olivia Wilde Sizzles in Leather at “I Want Your Sex” Premiere
Olivia Wilde turned heads at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival while leading the cast of the new erotic thriller I Want Your Sex. The film premiered at the Eccles Center Theater on January 23, with co-stars Cooper Hoffman, Mason Gooding, and Chase Sui Wonders in attendance. Charli XCX and Daveed Diggs, who also appear in the movie, were not present.
Wilde wore a sleek leather outfit that perfectly matched the film’s bold and provocative energy. She stars as Erika Tracy, a daring artist who takes a young intern, Elliot, played by Hoffman, under her wing.

Critics at Sundance praised Wilde and Hoffman’s chemistry, calling it lightning in a bottle and noting the film’s sharp, s**-forward reflection on the modern state of kink, power, and sexual autonomy. Mason Gooding and Chase Sui Wonders were also praised for their supporting performances, with Wonders taking part in one of the movie’s most talked-about scenes.

Director Gregg Araki, making his first film in over a decade, co-wrote and produced the project. The film’s stylish, heightened tone and bold subject matter have made it a standout at the festival, and studios are reportedly already interested in acquiring distribution.
Wilde is keeping busy at Sundance, also premiering her directorial comedy The Invite, starring Penélope Cruz, Seth Rogen, and Edward Norton. Cooper Hoffman continues to rise in 2026 with roles in Artificial and Poetic License, building on the momentum from his breakout performance in Licorice Pizza.
