The audience initially believed his stillness was part of a planned sketch about the end of the world, as he had just delivered a joke on the topic. After several minutes of silence, a stagehand checked on him and realized he was unconscious. Shawn had suffered a fatal heart attack during his live performance.

Eric Fleming

Known for his role in the series ‘Rawhide’, the actor traveled to Peru to film an episode of the adventure show ‘High Jungle’ in 1966. While filming a scene in a dugout canoe on the Huallaga River, the vessel overturned in turbulent water.
