Curves on Display as Anya Taylor-Joy Stuns in Leather Skirt at Apple TV Event
Anya Taylor-Joy proved once again why she is the reigning queen of both the screen and the red carpet as she stepped out for the Apple TV Press Day in Los Angeles.
The actress made a striking appearance in a curve-hugging black mock-neck blouse paired with a high-waisted leather skirt from the luxury label Khaite. The ensemble, which featured a bold metallic zipper snaking up the side to create a daring leg-baring slit, perfectly set the tone for her transition into a gritty new era of television.

The drama is scheduled to make its global debut on Wednesday, July 15, marking the star’s first major television leading role since her breakout performance in the 2020 phenomenon The Queen’s Gambit.

The production boasts a powerhouse creative team, with Jonathan Tropper and Cassie Pappas serving as co-showrunners and executive producers. Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter are also executive producing for Hello Sunshine, alongside Taylor-Joy herself through her production banner, LadyKiller. The pilot was directed by Jonathan van Tulleken, who also holds an executive producer credit.
The series features an elite ensemble cast that includes Timothy Olyphant, who plays Lucky’s father and mentor in the art of the scam. Academy Award nominee Annette Bening joins the fray as Priscilla, a dangerous mob leader, while Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor portrays Agent Billie Rand, the investigator hot on Lucky’s trail. Rising star Drew Starkey also appears as Lucky’s husband, Cary.
This project is the latest in a busy string of successes for Taylor-Joy, who has been virtually inescapable over the last year. In early 2025, she dominated ratings in the sci-fi action thriller The Gorge alongside Miles Teller, which also streamed on Apple TV. Festival.
Looking further into 2026, Taylor-Joy has several blockbuster projects on the horizon. Fans can expect to hear her return as the voice of Princess Peach in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, the sequel to the animated hit. Perhaps most anticipated is her return to the sands of Arrakis in Dune: Part Three, where she will fully inhabit the role of Alia Atreides following her brief, uncredited cameo in the previous installment.
