Jovovich, 50, looked effortlessly chic in a cream shirt layered under a classic jean jacket paired with a black skirt. She added silver heels and long jewelry to complete the look, proving her signature rockstar style is still going strong. Ever, 18, complemented her mother perfectly in a simple black-and-white dress with brown boots. The two hugged and smiled for photographers as they made their way into the premiere, drawing attention for their striking resemblance.
The premiere celebrated the latest film from director Luc Besson, Jovovich’s ex-husband, titled Dracula: A Love Tale. The movie reimagines Bram Stoker’s classic story, focusing on the vampire’s quest to reunite with a lost love.
Caleb Landry Jones stars as Dracula, with Christoph Waltz playing the priest hunting him. The film features over 140 stunt performers and a haunting score by Danny Elfman and is set to hit U.S. theaters on February 6. Jovovich’s connection to Besson remains strong despite their divorce, which explains her front-row presence at the premiere.
Ever Anderson, who is the eldest of three children Jovovich shares with filmmaker Paul W.S. Anderson, has been stepping into the spotlight for years. She made her debut playing a young version of her mother’s character in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and has since appeared as a young Natasha Romanoff in Black Widow and Wendy Darling in Peter Pan & Wendy.
Her father once told PEOPLE that she’s “very much growing up as a kind of movie child” and that he tried to keep her away from zombies on set so she wouldn’t have nightmares.
Jovovich herself continues to take on action-packed roles. She is set to star in the upcoming thriller Protector, playing a war veteran forced back into the criminal underworld to rescue her kidnapped daughter.
Jovovich reflected on her career in PEOPLE, saying, “I think that the franchise has definitely made me who I am today. And I have two kids and an amazing husband because of it.”
