Chris Hemsworth had an awkward and funny moment on television after a question from Halle Berry put him on the spot.

The moment comes from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The actress appeared on the show first and left a message for Hemsworth, who was scheduled to visit later. Berry is famous for playing Storm in the X-Men movies, and fans have been wondering if she will return now that the X-Men characters are part of Marvel’s bigger movie universe.

During her interview, Berry asked Fallon to pass along a question to the Thor actor. She said, “Why I Storm will not be in Doomsday? He knows the answer.” The question quickly caught attention because Marvel has not shared any official casting news for the upcoming Avengers film.

When Hemsworth appeared on the show, Fallon played the clip for him in front of the audience. The actor laughed and seemed surprised by the question. He quickly made it clear he was not responsible for casting decisions and said, “It has nothing to do with me.”

Fallon joked that Hemsworth looked embarrassed and told him his face was turning red. Hemsworth responded with humor and said, “no it’s just really hot in here.” The audience laughed as he tried to dodge the topic.

He then joked about the powers of both superheroes. He said, “There’ll be too many storms.” He continued, “The character I play also has a weather pattern adjusting and they thought we cancel each other out and who will be the most powerful stormish person.”

Hemsworth also hinted that Berry might be teasing him on purpose. He said, “Hey maybe it’s part of the play. Maybe she is in it or maybe she’s in the next one or maybe as I said I had nothing to do with it. I think she is trying to get me fired.”

The exchange has sparked new excitement among Marvel fans who would love to see Thor and Storm share the screen. For now, Marvel has not confirmed anything, but the playful TV moment has added more buzz around the future of the Avengers films.
