In addition to directing the project, Wilde stars in the film as Angela. She is joined by an incredible A-list cast that includes Seth Rogen as her husband, alongside Penélope Cruz and Edward Norton as the neighbors from upstairs.
The film received a rare standing ovation at its world premiere and has been praised by critics for its wit and emotional depth. This success marks a triumphant return for Wilde after the high-profile gossip that surrounded her previous thriller, Don’t Worry Darling.
It seems that with this latest project, she has returned to the character-focused, comedic roots that first made her a directorial standout with Booksmart.
