Jimmy Kimmel Blasts Trump Over Bad Bunny Rant: ‘This Is a Man Who Paid Off a Porn Star’
Jimmy Kimmel did not hold back on Monday night while responding to Donald Trump’s harsh critique of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. The comments were shared during Kimmel’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” broadcast.
Kimmel read out Trump’s tweet, in which the president called the performance “absolutely terrible” and “an affront to the greatness of America.” Trump criticized Bad Bunny for his dancing and singing, claiming the show was inappropriate for children.

Kimmel mocked the criticism, saying, “This is a man who paid off a p**** star who spanked him with his own face on a magazine.”
The late-night host didn’t stop there. He also poked fun at Turning Point USA’s rival halftime programming, joking that it should have been called the “Kristi Noem Shoots-Her-Puppy Bowl,” adding that it “was not a good program.”
Kimmel went on to comment on conservative criticism in general, saying, “[Conservatives] complain about how bad everything is, and then they do it worse. And not only do they do it worse, they do it in jorts. Of course, the gang at Fox News thought it was great, and Turning Point, they seemed happy with it too.”
The segment cut to a representative from Turning Point USA, who told Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade that the organization plans another halftime show next year. Kimmel joked about what’s to come, saying, “Next year it will be Lara Trump with a Ted Nguyen cover band. They’ve got to do it for the country.”
Kimmel’s take on Trump’s critique shows he has no problem using humor to call out what he sees as hypocrisy and over-the-top criticism. It’s a sharp reminder of the divide between late-night comedy and political commentary.
