Charlize Theron, 50, Flaunts Timeless Beauty in Plunging Corset Ensemble
Charlize Theron turned heads when she attended the Baby2Baby Gala in 2024. The actress, 49, arrived in a stunning ivory and black gown that really made her stand out. The dress was a custom Schiaparelli creation with a plunging halter neckline and a black corset over the top, detailed with delicate white accents.
The mix of the structured corset and the flowing Grecian-style skirt showed off the brand’s signature mix of high fashion and creative edge. Theron was honored at the Los Angeles event with the Giving Tree Award for her long-time humanitarian work.
Through her Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, she has fought against HIV and gender-based violence and has supported LGBTQ+ rights and programs for young people.
Her look was completed with bold gold earrings and a sleek side-parted hairstyle. She went with a soft peach makeup palette that matched the elegance of the outfit. On social media, she seemed happy to swap her casual home clothes for a glamorous red carpet look.
“Finally out of my sweats,” she joked in a post while thanking designer Daniel Roseberry and the Schiaparelli team for the gown. The Baby2Baby Gala supports children living in poverty and remains one of Theron’s most important annual events. It’s one of the highlights of the philanthropic calendar in Los Angeles.
Theron’s schedule is packed this year with big projects. In April, she will star in the Netflix survival thriller Apex, directed by Baltasar Kormákur. She plays a rock climber hunted in the wild, alongside Taron Egerton and Eric Bana.

Her biggest role this year is in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic, The Odyssey, which hits theaters on July 17. Theron will play Circe, the powerful witch-goddess. The movie also stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, and Tom Holland as Telemachus, along with Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, and Lupita Nyong’o. This marks her first time working with Nolan on a $250 million production.
Fans are also excited for her return to the Fast & Furious franchise. She will reprise her role as the hacker Cipher in the final movie, Fast Forever, which is set to release in June 2026 for the series’ 25th anniversary. Her character’s uneasy alliance with the Toretto family is expected to be a major part of the story.
Theron also celebrated the release of The Old Guard 2 on Netflix, which finally premiered in July 2025 after a long post-production period. Alongside acting, she continues to produce films through her company Denver and Delilah and remains deeply involved in her humanitarian work.
