Freya Allan turned heads at the 2026 BAFTA Awards with a bold black gown that featured a deep plunge neckline and a flowing train. The 24-year-old actress, known for her work in fantasy series, blended classic Hollywood style with a modern edge, making a strong impression on the London red carpet. Fans and critics praised her look, saying it reflected a more confident and mature side of Allan.

Speaking to reporters at the event, Allan described the evening as “a beautiful homecoming.” She shared her excitement about celebrating British cinema and hinted that she is entering a new phase of her career with more varied roles.

Allan’s career has been on a steep rise, especially after the release of The Witcher season four in late 2025. This season introduced Liam Hemsworth as Geralt and featured Allan’s character Ciri taking on a darker, central role under the name Falka. She told reporters that Ciri is “taking on a darker persona” while navigating a fractured world without her usual powers. The final season of the Netflix series is currently in production and promises to wrap up the story in an emotional way.

On the big screen, Allan has also found success. She played Mae in 2024’s Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and is expected to return for the sequel, which is in early development at 20th Century Studios. She is also filming the fantasy horror movie Triton in Greece, alongside Josh Whitehouse, Raff Law, and Thalia Besson. This project is a departure from her usual action-heavy roles and allows her to explore darker, character-driven material.

Allan’s most anticipated upcoming role may be in the biopic Faithfull, where she will portray 1960s pop star Marianne Faithfull. The film explores Faithfull’s rise to fame and turbulent life in London, with Jojo Macari playing Mick Jagger. Directed by Zaida Bergroth, the project could position Allan for awards recognition and shows her ability to move beyond fantasy and blockbuster projects into real-life storytelling.

Between high-profile franchises and independent films, Freya Allan has proven she is one of the most versatile young actresses today. Her appearance at the BAFTAs was a celebration of her decade-long journey from teenage star to established talent.
