It was so delicious and so different from anything I’ve ever done, she said, noting the challenge of finding humanity in the character’s vanity.
She also appeared at the 2025 Venice Film Festival for the premiere of In the Hand of Dante, directed by Julian Schnabel. Gadot took on dual roles in the crime drama, starring alongside Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, and Gerard Butler. The movie explores both historical and modern narratives connected to Dante Alighieri and includes Martin Scorsese in a rare acting role.
Looking ahead, Gadot will star in The Runner, a high-stakes action thriller directed by Kevin Macdonald for Amazon International, where she plays a lawyer racing through London to save her kidnapped son. She is also developing a film adaptation of The Recovery Agent, playing adventurous Gabriela Rose.
