Sofia Vergara, 53, Leaves Little to the Imagination in Eye-Popping Grey Plaid Strapless Ensemble
Sofia Vergara did not cancel her New York trip, even as a major snowstorm hit the city on February 24. Flights were delayed across the region, but she still made it in for a packed day of interviews. She stepped out in a grey plaid strapless top with matching trousers, ignoring the freezing temperatures. On social media, she wrote, The snow didnt stop us!! Press day in NYC❄️❄️
During her stop at the Today show, the hosts asked if she had brought winter clothes from Miami. She laughed and pointed to her outfit, replying, Obviously not! The moment quickly spread online, with many fans praising her confidence in the middle of a blizzard.
But her visit was not only about fashion. She appeared alongside Octavia Spencer to talk about American Heart Month. The issue is personal for her. She helps care for her mother, who has high blood pressure. On air, she shared, I have a very important message that I didn’t want to miss. My mother has been struggling, and I make her get the test every year. She urged viewers to stay on top of their health and schedule regular checkups.
Vergara’s career is also moving in a new direction. After earning strong reviews and an Emmy nomination for her role in the Netflix series Griselda, she has taken on more serious roles. In that show, she played a powerful crime figure and changed her image completely. She once said about the role, I wanted my real-life persona to disappear.
More projects are on the way. She is set to appear in the upcoming dark comedy film Thumb, directed by Daina Oniunas-Pusić, with Milly Alcock, Awkwafina, and Kate McKinnon. She is also working on a new comedy series for ABC called Raising Mom, based on her own life as a single mother.
Outside of acting, she continues to expand her business work. Her coffee brand, ¡Dios Mío! Coffee, recently launched and focuses on buying beans from women farmers in Colombia. She explained, We buy the coffee from them at a premium price. The brand made a public debut at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival earlier this year.
Vergara is also back as a judge on America’s Got Talent and recently appeared in a Super Bowl commercial for Skechers. Between TV, film, and business, she remains one of the busiest stars in entertainment.
