Tom Holland Spotted Wearing Orthopedic Boot While Dining in Beverly Hills
Tom Holland was recently spotted out in Beverly Hills with a black orthopedic walking boot, sparking questions about his current physical health. On Wednesday evening, February 25, the 29-year-old actor was seen leaving the popular sushi restaurant Matsuhisa with friends.
He appeared in good spirits as he chatted and laughed, but fans immediately noticed the boot on his left foot. The exact cause of the foot injury is still unknown, as Holland has not spoken publicly about it. This isn’t the first time he’s had to deal with injuries while working.
Last September, during the filming of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in the U.K., Holland suffered a mild concussion after a stunt went wrong. That injury required a short break, but it’s unrelated to his current foot issue.
Despite the setback, Holland has a busy summer ahead with two major films releasing just weeks apart. First, he stars in Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated epic The Odyssey, hitting theaters on July 17. Then, he returns to his most famous role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, set for release on July 31.

In The Odyssey, Holland plays Telemachus, the determined son of Odysseus, portrayed by Matt Damon. The film boasts an impressive cast, including Anne Hathaway as Penelope, Zendaya as Athena, and Robert Pattinson as Antinous. It is also the first movie ever shot entirely with IMAX 70mm cameras, promising audiences a truly unique visual experience.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks a fresh chapter for Peter Parker after the events of No Way Home. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film introduces new characters to the MCU, including Sadie Sink and Tramell Tillman.
Reports suggest the production emphasizes practical stunts, which may explain the physical toll Holland has endured. The actor is known for performing most of his own stunts, a dedication that fans and colleagues have long praised.
Outside of work, Holland has been supporting his fiancée Zendaya on the set of Euphoria Season 3 and has been linked to other upcoming projects, including rumors of a live-action video game adaptation, though nothing has been confirmed.
While his recent injuries show the demanding nature of his roles, Holland seems committed to taking the time he needs to recover. Fans can expect him to be ready for a massive global press tour this summer, following his dual blockbuster releases.
