Jamie Lee Curtis, 67, Turns Heads With Daring Lingerie Selfie
Jamie Lee Curtis is making headlines again, this time with a bold Instagram selfie from the back of a limousine. The 67-year-old actress showed off black lingerie while driving through New York City, using the moment to celebrate her goddaughter, Maggie Gyllenhaal.
Curtis praised Gyllenhaal’s new film, The Bride!, calling it “an audacious, bold, punk, feminist opera of a movie.” She explained that her risqué outfit was part of a Victoria’s Secret collaboration tied to the film’s release.
“I couldn’t figure out how to show my pride, so this display of skin was the best I could manage while driving around New York City,” she wrote. The daring selfie is also connected to Curtis’s own upcoming work.
She’s preparing for the March 11 premiere of the Amazon Prime thriller series Scarpetta, in which she stars as Dorothy Farinelli, the glamorous and mysterious sister of Nicole Kidman’s forensic pathologist Kay Scarpetta.
Curtis noted that the edgy look in her photo was very much in line with Dorothy’s sultry persona, blending fashion with her character’s bold attitude. Curtis has been embracing attention-grabbing fashion moments lately.
She recently turned heads in a low-cut jumpsuit while filming Freakier Friday, the 2025 sequel to the classic body-swapping comedy, which reunited her with Lindsay Lohan. The film was a huge hit, earning over $150 million globally, and Curtis said that the buzz around her costume only helped spread the fun and excitement the movie was meant to deliver.
In Scarpetta, Curtis stars alongside Nicole Kidman, Ariana DeBose, and Bobby Cannavale. She also serves as an executive producer through her company, Comet Pictures. On set, she joked that her character is “required to look cute at all times,” a rule she humorously admits she finds frustrating but fun to play with.
Meanwhile, Gyllenhaal’s The Bride! is set to hit theaters on March 6. The punk-inspired retelling of the Frankenstein story stars Jessie Buckley as the Bride, Christian Bale as the Monster, and features Penélope Cruz and Peter Sarsgaard.
Curtis’s post not only showed her support for the film but also reminded fans how closely she follows and champions the work of her friends and family in Hollywood. With her Instagram moment, Curtis proved that even at 67, she’s not afraid to take risks, celebrate loved ones, and blend fashion with her professional projects.
Between promoting Scarpetta and showing love for The Bride!, she continues to keep fans entertained while making a statement that style and boldness do not go away with time or age.
