‘Beef’ Season 2 Trailer Lands: Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan Stir Up Drama at the Country Club
Netflix has released the first look at Season 2 of the hit series Beef, created by Lee Sung Jin and produced by A24. The teaser introduces viewers to a new story set at a luxurious country club, featuring a fresh cast including Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny. The season is set to premiere on April 16.
Season 2 centers on a Gen-Z couple, Ashley Miller (Spaeny) and Austin Davis (Melton), who work as lower-level staff at the country club. Their lives become tangled in the unraveling marriage of the general manager, Joshua Martín (Isaac), and his wife, Lindsay Crane-Martín (Mulligan).
The drama intensifies as both couples navigate power, favors, and the approval of the club’s Korean billionaire owner, Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh-hung), who is also dealing with her own personal scandal involving her second husband, Doctor Kim (Song Kang-ho).
Speaking to Deadline last year, Spaeny teased that Season 2 is just as wild as the first, saying, “What’s fun about this one, is that it’s beef between couples and different generations.”
Every couple meets their match. BEEF Season 2 premieres April 16.

The original season of Beef drew inspiration from Lee Sung Jin’s own experience with a road rage incident. It starred Steven Yeun and Ali Wong as two strangers whose lives collide after a traffic altercation. Season 1 earned critical acclaim, winning four Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, and three Golden Globes, including Best Limited or Anthology Series or Television Film.
Season 2 promises to expand the world of Beef while introducing new tensions, new characters, and a glimpse into high-stakes relationships across generations.
The new season looks like it will push the drama even further, mixing dark humor with intense interpersonal conflict. The addition of Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan brings serious star power, and it will be interesting to see how the new couples’ stories intersect.
