Anna Camp (43) Opens up About Being Bisexual and Her Relationship With Jade Whipkey

Anna Camp is opening up about an important moment in her personal life. During a recent appearance on the podcast I’ve Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario, the actress revealed that she identifies as bisexual and said she feels proud of herself for sharing that truth publicly.

The 43-year-old actress spoke honestly about the experience of talking about her sexuality while being a public figure. Camp said that being open about her identity can feel intimidating at times because of the attention and opinions that come with fame.

Still, she explained that living honestly matters more to her than worrying about what others might say.“As a 43-year-old woman, I am very proud of myself for owning my sexuality at this age.“

“I am a very strong person for doing it in somewhat of a spotlight with people criticizing and judging and making assumptions. I’m really proud to be bisexual.” Camp said the moment represents a new stage in her life.

She explained that she no longer feels afraid of learning more about herself and growing as a person. Speaking on the podcast with DiDario, she admitted that opening up publicly can feel like taking a risk, but she believes it is worth it.

“Sure, there are times I feel like I am taking a risk, and this is scary, and I’m doing it in a public forum. But to say, ‘No, I only get one life, and I want to be happy,’ that’s what life is all about.”

Her comments come almost a year after fans first started noticing her relationship with stylist Jade Whipkey. The couple sparked romance rumors in 2024 after sharing photos together on social media.

One picture that gained attention showed them enjoying a candlelit dinner. In the caption, Whipkey described Camp’s smile as a poem, which many fans took as confirmation that the two were dating.

The pair later stepped out together publicly when they attended the premiere of Bride Hard in June 2025. That appearance marked their official red carpet debut as a couple. Since then, Camp has addressed comments about their relationship, including criticism about their age difference.

She responded by saying that Whipkey is more mature than many people her own age. This relationship is Camp’s first public romance with a woman.
