Demi Moore, 63, wowed the crowd at the 2026 Oscars with a bold fashion statement that proved age is no barrier to glamour.

The actress, arriving at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 15, wore a custom Gucci gown covered in feathers. The dress combined emerald green and black shades with shimmering metallic details. Feathers at the top of the strapless design pointed upward, while the form-fitting skirt featured feathers flowing down into a dramatic train.

Moore kept her look balanced with long, black hair parted in the middle and soft waves cascading over her shoulders. She added silver jewelry, including droplet earrings and a matching bracelet, while opting for natural, glowing makeup. Her skin had a petal-pink blush and matching rosy lips, complementing the intensity of the feathered gown.

Hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos told the press, “Demi is wearing a beautiful custom feathered Gucci gown. The dress has such an incredible shape, so I wanted to complement it with an iconic Demi Moore blowout. Extra glossy and shiny with a nice, soft bounce at the ends and iconic middle part. I used Kérastase Chronologiste Thermique Régénérant Heat Protecting Cream for this look because it protects the hair from heat while adding incredible shine and smoothness.”

Moore served as a presenter at the ceremony alongside stars like Javier Bardem, Chris Evans, Anne Hathaway, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Kieran Culkin. Last year, she earned her first Academy Award nomination for her role in The Substance, although the Best Actress award went to Mikey Madison for Anora.

Her red-carpet look continues a strong streak in fashion for Moore. At the 2025 Oscars, she wore a crystal-embroidered Giorgio Armani Privé gown with a plunging neckline and pleated hips leading into a long train. Her daughter, Scout Willis, promised the outfit would be “iconic” and Moore delivered, combining glamour with a sense of drama.

The Substance, starring Moore, Margaret Qualley, and Dennis Quaid, received five Oscar nominations, including Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay, and won for Best Makeup and Hairstyling. Director Coralie Fargeat, the only woman nominated for Best Director that year, received recognition for her work, while Moore’s performance has earned multiple awards from the Golden Globes, Critics Choice, and Screen Actors Guild.

Demi Moore’s feathered Gucci gown proves that Hollywood glamour doesn’t have an age limit. She balanced drama with elegance, creating a look that was fierce yet sophisticated. What do you think about Demi’s bold choice this year? Share your thoughts in the comments.
