‘Jack Ryan’ Teaser Drops, Teases High-Stakes ‘Ghost War’ for John Krasinski
Prime Video is bringing back John Krasinski as Jack Ryan after a three-year break, and fans finally got a first look at what’s next. The streaming giant released a teaser for the upcoming movie, confirming the title as Jack Ryan: Ghost War, and announced that the full trailer will arrive tomorrow.
Krasinski first stepped into the role in 2018 when Amazon adapted Tom Clancy’s iconic character for television. Unlike his comedic role in The Office, Krasinski’s Jack Ryan is a sharp and capable CIA analyst who can handle gunfire, explosions, and high-stakes missions.
The character has a history as a former U.S. Marine officer and Afghanistan veteran, which has helped him survive some of the deadliest situations, from rogue missions in South America to high-level CIA conspiracies.

Fans of Tom Clancy might recognize the connection to Ghost Recon, but whether the movie will tie into that universe remains unknown.
The upcoming film marks the first feature-length outing for Krasinski’s Jack Ryan since the series’ fourth season, and it arrives after a long wait following the 2024 announcement of the movie. Jack Ryan: Ghost War is set to premiere in May.
