Lori Loughlin made a striking return to the spotlight at the “When Calls the Heart” and “Hope Valley: 1874” celebration in West Hollywood on Wednesday. The 61-year-old actress wore a white strapless gown that hugged her figure, paired with silver heels and a matching clutch. She completed her look with a bronzed glow, silver earrings, and a sleek ponytail.

Fans were thrilled to see Loughlin back in Hope Valley, where she played Abigail Stanton from the show’s debut in 2014 until 2019. The actress had left the series after Season 6 following the college admissions scandal. During the scandal, she served time in jail for her role in paying a half-million-dollar bribe to get her daughters into the University of Southern California.

Despite her absence from the series, Loughlin is set to return for the upcoming 14th season. Michelle Vicary, Hallmark Media’s head of programming said, “Since the series’ debut in 2014, the character of Abigail Stanton was a fan favorite and beloved by the Hearties. At its core the Hallmark brand is about hope, positivity and connection, which is also the central theme of ‘When Calls the Heart.’ We felt that season 14 was the right time to continue Abigail’s story with her return to this beloved series.”

Loughlin has mostly kept a low profile in recent years but appeared in projects such as Prime Video’s “On Call,” “Blue Bloods,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” and the Christmas rom-com “Fall into Winter.” She also attended the Women’s Cancer Research Fund’s “Unforgettable Evening” gala on March 11, which drew attention for her elegant look.

Fans took to social media to admire Loughlin’s youthful appearance. Makeup artist Lyndsay Zavitz shared photos of the actress on Instagram, prompting comments like “Wow! She looks amazing! What’s her secret?” and “Amazing! She looks so youthful wow.”

The event also came after Loughlin’s split from ex-husband Mossimo Giannulli in October 2025, ending nearly 28 years of marriage. The couple shares two daughters, Olivia Jade, 26, and Isabella, 27. A source told Us Weekly in January that the couple never fully recovered their relationship after the admissions scandal.

“The school scandal was a turning point, and they never really connected or recovered their relationship after that,” the source said, adding that Loughlin felt Giannulli had “got her involved” in the situation. “She didn’t fully blame him, but he spearheaded it. She never fully forgave him and never fully got over it,” the source added.

Lori Loughlin’s return shows she still has star power and charisma that can captivate audiences. Her confident appearance and poise prove she’s ready to reclaim her place in the public eye. What do you think about her comeback? Share your thoughts in the comments.
