‘Reacher’ Star Alan Ritchson at Center of Controversy as Neighbor Alleges Death Threats From Furious Fans After Violent Clash
A neighborhood dispute involving Alan Ritchson has now taken a darker turn, as the man involved in the incident claims he is being targeted with threats.
According to TMZ, Ronnie Taylor says he has received more than 100 threatening calls and messages after his physical altercation with the Reacher star. The situation began last weekend in Brentwood, Tennessee, where both men live.
Reports say the confrontation started when Taylor stepped in front of Ritchson’s motorcycle. He believed the actor was riding too fast through the area. The encounter quickly became physical and was captured on video, which later spread online.
Police reviewed the incident and decided not to press charges. Authorities concluded that Ritchson acted in self-defense, and the case was closed without further action.

After the video gained attention, Taylor says the response from some fans has been extreme. He told TMZ that he has been getting calls from blocked numbers and messages with serious threats.
He shared that one caller said they wanted to see him badly injured, while another warned he could end up in a wheelchair. Some of the texts were also aggressive. One message read “Die, die, die.” Another message, according to Taylor, attacked his personal life and included harsh words about his family.
Taylor said he spoke informally with a police officer about the situation. He was told he could file a report if he felt unsafe. For now, he has chosen not to do that, as he believes many of the messages are coming from online trolls.
The incident shows how quickly a local conflict can grow into something bigger once it spreads online, especially when a well-known actor is involved.
