Anne Hathaway (43) Shines in Sparkly Bodysuit Paired With Thigh-High Boots
Anne Hathaway is once again proving why she’s one of the most admired style icons in Hollywood. Known for taking risks with her fashion, she recently stepped out in an outfit that turned heads and reminded everyone of her bold, fearless approach to style.
The actress wore a sparkling black bodysuit that perfectly highlighted her elegant figure. The suit featured cut-outs and a dramatic neckline that flowed naturally with her silhouette.
On top of that, she added a pleated gold cape that trailed behind her as she moved, adding a sense of grandeur and theatrical flair. The look was finished with structured shoulder pads, a matching headpiece, and thigh-high boots, combining modern edge with regal elegance.
The ensemble captured the “Mother Mary” aesthetic she was promoting, creating a striking visual statement that fans immediately noticed. This outfit was part of a promotional reveal for her upcoming A24 film, Mother Mary, set to hit theaters on April 17.
Hathaway stars as a fictional pop star attempting a big professional comeback while navigating a complex reunion with a former friend and costume designer, played by Michaela Coel.
The movie also features Hunter Schafer, FKA Twigs, and Kaia Gerber, with music contributions from Jack Antonoff and Charli XCX to ensure the musical performances feel authentic. David Lowery directs the highly anticipated film.
Hathaway’s schedule doesn’t slow down after Mother Mary. Just two weeks later, she returns to one of her most famous roles in The Devil Wears Prada 2, coming out May 1. The sequel reunites her with Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt as they navigate the challenges of modern fashion publishing.
The summer promises even more diverse roles for Hathaway. She will star in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestseller Verity alongside Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett.
That will be followed by the sci-fi thriller Flowervale Street, directed by David Robert Mitchell and co-starring Ewan McGregor, which is scheduled to debut on August 14. Hathaway has said this range of projects lets her experiment with daring, unexpected characters in ways she hasn’t before.
With five major films coming out in just a few months, Hathaway is clearly in a period of enormous creative momentum. She continues to take on projects that challenge her talent and push her artistry further, whether she’s playing a global pop star or a high-pressure editor.
