Livvy Dunne is giving fans a closer look at her new acting life after joining the reboot of Baywatch. The 23-year-old former LSU gymnast is now filming her first major TV role, and she has been sharing moments from the set.

Dunne is part of a large cast that brings together athletes, influencers, and actors. She is working in Malibu alongside names like Shay Mitchell, Hassie Harrison, Brooks Nader, Jessica Belkin, and Noah Beck. The group is currently filming beach scenes for the new version of the classic show.

On social media, Dunne posted relaxed behind-the-scenes photos showing life on set. One image featured her sitting on the sand in casual sportswear with the ocean behind her and a sunset sky in the background. She also described the set as the “best set in the world,” showing how excited she is about the project.

Another post showed her spending time with castmates. In a selfie, Shay Mitchell appeared in a white top with Baywatch branding, while Hassie Harrison showed part of the show’s famous red swimsuit. The group looked relaxed and playful while filming together.

Dunne recently ended her gymnastics career after her final season with LSU. Since then, she has moved into entertainment, with Baywatch marking her first major acting role. She plays a junior lifeguard in the reboot, which is being developed as a modern version of the original series.

Outside of filming, Dunne has been balancing a very busy schedule. She is in a relationship with baseball player Paul Skenes, and she often travels to support him during games. She also attends events and continues to film, which has made her routine packed and fast-moving.

In recent weeks, she has been seen going between filming locations, baseball games, and public appearances, including music events. She even shared a short breakdown of her schedule on social media, showing just how busy her days have become.

The Baywatch reboot was announced by Fox as a 12-episode series. It follows a new group of lifeguards working along the Los Angeles coastline, with familiar names from the original show being referenced in the new storyline.

Some fans were surprised to see influencers and social media personalities cast in acting roles. However, Dunne has said she is excited about the change and focused on learning. She explained that she wanted to explore acting after finishing college sports and now has the time to focus on creative work.

From her point of view, this new chapter is about growth and seeing her effort pay off in a different field.

Dunne’s shift from sports to acting is interesting because it shows how athletes are now moving into entertainment more often. It will be worth seeing if she can fully transition into acting long term or if this stays more of a crossover role. What do you think about athletes joining big TV reboots like this?
