‘Baywatch’ Star Livvy Dunne Turns Heads as Swimsuit Shows Under Micro Shorts
Livvy Dunne is back in the spotlight after sharing a new look on social media that quickly caught fans’ attention. The post, shared through her Instagram story, showed a casual mirror selfie that highlighted her outfit for an upcoming project tied to the revived Baywatch franchise.
In the image, Dunne wore a classic red swimsuit paired with light-colored short shorts and a matching cropped jacket. The combination drew interest online as it blended the well-known “Baywatch” style with a more modern, casual streetwear look. The post was captioned simply as a “fit check,” and it quickly spread among fans.
Earlier this year, Dunne also shared a set of photos from the same shoot. In that post, she leaned into the playful theme of the franchise and wrote, “I only run in slow motion now.” The caption referenced the iconic running scenes from the original series and was widely shared by followers.
The upcoming reboot of Baywatch has been in development for several years and is now moving forward at Fox Entertainment. According to reporting from Deadline and other entertainment outlets, the new version will introduce a mix of new characters and returning names from the original show.

Dunne is set to play a character named Grace, a junior lifeguard, in the updated series. The cast also includes Shay Mitchell, Noah Beck, Stephen Amell, Brooks Nader, and Hassie Harrison.
The project was officially ordered for a full season in 2025 and is expected to be part of the 2026–27 television lineup. It is produced with support from California’s film and television tax credit program, which helped move production forward in the state.
The reboot also includes connections to the original series. David Chokachi is returning as Cody Madison, while Erika Eleniak is also set to reprise her role as Shauni McClain. These returning appearances have been described in industry reports as a link between the old and new versions of the show.
Casting for the series has been rolling out in stages, with the latest updates confirming Dunne’s recurring role as part of the younger lifeguard group. According to production announcements shared through entertainment outlets like Deadline, filming is expected to continue through 2026 ahead of the show’s planned release window.
