Elodie Yung Rumored to Join ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ After Fans Spot New Clues
Elodie Yung is back in the conversation again, and fans are once more wondering if she could return as Elektra in the Marvel universe.
The talk started after a recent Instagram post from the actress, who is best known for playing Elektra in Netflix’s Daredevil and The Defenders. In her post, she shared that she is currently in New York City. This caught attention because filming for Daredevil: Born Again season 3 is reportedly happening in NYC right now.
This is not the first time Elodie Yung has sparked this kind of speculation. Fans have been watching her social media closely for any small hint that she might be involved in future Marvel projects.
In another recent post, she shared a photo of herself resting and wrote: “Lil nap (sorry Jon Bernthal) and then I’ll clean up.” The mention of Jon Bernthal, who plays the Punisher, made fans even more curious. Many started to wonder if there could be some connection to the upcoming Marvel series.
Fans also point out that Marvel has been bringing back characters from the Netflix shows. Charlie Cox has already returned as Daredevil in the MCU, Vincent D’Onofrio is back as Kingpin, and Krysten Ritter is also expected to return as Jessica Jones. Because of this, many believe Elektra could also come back at some point.
Elodie Yung’s character was last seen in The Defenders, and her story was never fully closed. That is another reason why fans keep expecting a return.
