Tom Brady Brutally Roasts Kevin Hart Over Cheating Scandal at Netflix Event

Tom Brady surprised the crowd during Netflix’s roast of Kevin Hart by bringing up one of the comedian’s biggest personal scandals in front of a live audience.

The former NFL quarterback appeared early during the event at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and immediately started throwing jokes at Hart before the main roast officially kicked off. According to the live Netflix roast, Brady joked about his busy schedule before making a direct reference to Hart’s past cheating scandal in Las Vegas.

“All right, this won’t take long, because, as you guys know, I’m a busy man,” Brady told the crowd. “But I do have a few words for you before I return to my affairs in Las Vegas.” After the audience reacted, Brady continued the joke.

“Oh, wait, I’m talking about affairs in Las Vegas. Was that off? Not supposed to talk about affairs in Vegas? I think I broke another rule. Fuck it. I talked about it.” The joke referenced Hart’s 2017 cheating scandal involving his wife, Eniko Hart, while she was pregnant. Hart later publicly admitted to cheating and apologized for the situation.

Brady’s appearance was seen as payback after Hart roasted him during Netflix’s celebrity roast in 2024. Before Brady walked onstage Sunday night, Hart had already started taking shots at the retired football star while talking to the audience.

“I’m gonna tell you right now, it’s gonna be way better than the Brady roast,” Hart said. “The reason why is because I’m not a bitch. Tom is a bitch.” Hart continued joking about Brady sitting quietly during his own roast.

“Tom sat there the whole time with the fucking white man’s face,” Hart said. “He was a fucking bitch. I ain’t no bitch.”

The comedian also claimed he was fully ready for whatever insults people wanted to throw at him. “You go and say what you want to say. Say it. I don’t give a shit. At the end of the day, I’m Kevin Hart. I’m the man.”

Only moments later, Brady walked out onstage and immediately fired back. “Jesus, do you ever shut the fuck up?” Brady joked. “Have you even left the Forum, or have you just been here screaming into that mic the last two years waiting for daddy to come home?”

He then added another personal jab aimed at Hart. “Well, unlike your real dad, I actually showed up,” Brady said. The crowd reacted loudly as the two continued joking back and forth throughout the night.

The roast featured several celebrities and comedians who all took turns targeting Hart with brutal jokes. Guests included Chelsea Handler, Pete Davidson, Tiffany Haddish and Regina Hall, among others.

The live event was hosted by Shane Gillis as part of Netflix Is a Joke Fest. The roast was filmed inside the Kia Forum and streamed live Sunday night.

Even though the jokes became personal at times, the event followed the same format as Brady’s own roast from last year, where celebrities and comedians openly mocked every part of his life and career. This time, Hart found himself sitting in the hot seat while Brady got the chance to return the favor in front of millions of viewers.
