Romantic drama series often find their strength in simple stories about love, friendship, and growing up. These kinds of shows tend to focus on relationships that change over time and the emotional moments that come with them.

A new example of this is the upcoming series Every Year After, which has now released its official trailer.

The show is based on the novel Every Summer After by Carley Fortune, and it is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on June 10, according to Amazon Prime Video and production details.

Every Year After is developed for television by Amy B. Harris and Leila Gerstein. It follows a group of characters whose lives stay connected across different stages of adulthood, focusing on love, memory, and choices that shape their future.

The main cast includes Sadie Soverall as Percy, Matt Cornett as Sam, Aurora Perrineau as Chantal, Abigail Cowen as Delilah, Michael Bradway as Charlie, and Joseph Chiu as Jordie. Elisha Cuthbert also appears in a recurring role as Sue Florek.

The series was officially ordered by Amazon Prime Video in July 2024, and it was confirmed that it would adapt Carley Fortune’s bestselling novel. The release date is now set for June 10, with all eight episodes arriving on the same day.
