Netflix is taking “KPop Demon Hunters” beyond the screen and turning it into a live global concert experience.

The announcement was made during Netflix’s Upfront presentation on Wednesday, according to the streamer. Netflix is partnering with AEG Presents to create a worldwide tour inspired by the animated hit film.

Netflix said the event will bring “a live experience that will bring elements of the two-time Oscar-winning film to life in spectacular ways.” However, full details about the tour are still limited.

At this stage, it is not confirmed whether the tour will include the singing voices from the movie’s fictional groups, Huntrix and the Saja Boys. The Huntrix vocals were performed by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, while the speaking roles were done by Arden Cho, May Hong, and Ji-young Yoo.

The film, directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, follows Huntrix, a K-pop girl group who secretly fight supernatural monsters while dealing with fame and music industry pressure. When it was released in 2025, it quickly grew from a niche release into a global hit.

According to Netflix, the movie went on to become its most-watched film ever and also produced chart-topping songs. The soundtrack gained strong popularity even outside traditional K-pop audiences, helping the film reach a wide global fanbase.

AEG Presents, the company behind the tour, is known for organizing major live concerts for global K-pop acts, including groups like BLACKPINK, ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER. This experience is expected to help shape the scale of the upcoming show.

For now, fans can sign up for a waitlist to receive updates. Netflix has not announced tour dates or cities yet, but more information is expected to be released later this year.

The rise of “KPop Demon Hunters” has been unusual in the best way. What started as an animated film became a cultural moment, spreading across streaming, music charts, and award shows. It even picked up major awards, including two Academy Awards and a Grammy win for K-pop.

The film’s success has also led to plans for a sequel. A follow-up was already in development discussions between Netflix and Sony Animation. Later, Netflix confirmed that directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans signed new deals to continue the story under a multiyear agreement.

No release date for the sequel has been announced yet, but the new concert tour shows that Netflix is continuing to build on the franchise while interest is still strong around the world.
