‘Wuthering Heights’ Star Margot Robbie Shows Off Her Slim Waist in Ultra Low-Rise Pants
Margot Robbie stepped out in London wearing a sleek McQueen outfit at the West End opening night of “1536” on May 12. The look quickly drew attention for its sharp tailoring and modern military-inspired style.
The outfit came from the Alexander McQueen spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection. The ensemble featured a structured long-sleeve jacket with subtle gold embroidery and strong utilitarian details. The design leaned into a bold, sharp silhouette while still keeping a refined red carpet feel.
The jacket was paired with low-rise tapered trousers, which gave the outfit a more relaxed but still fashion-forward edge. Margot Robbie completed the look with pointed-toe heels and minimal jewelry, including small gold hoop earrings.
She also carried the McQueen Manta clutch, a sculptural black leather bag priced at around $1,690. The clutch is based on an older McQueen design and features a curved, wave-like structure with folded edges, making it one of the standout accessories of the outfit.
The collection itself was designed under Seán McGirr and first appeared during Paris Fashion Week in October 2025. WWD described the runway show as having a strong mix of bold styling and dramatic energy.
As noted in the report, the collection included sharp contrasts and edgy fashion choices. One description from WWD read, “A blue police officer’s uniform shirt was sexed up with a corset, while pencil skirts came in an array of fabrications, from shredded white denim to faded floral jacquard and black leather dotted with rings and fringes.”
The review also added, “Overall, the collection reflected a more pragmatic approach that should support the ailing label’s ongoing restructuring — and McGirr still delivered some red carpet stunners.”
The event Robbie attended was for the play “1536,” written by Ava Pickett. The story is set in Tudor England and follows three women whose lives are changed after the execution of Anne Boleyn by King Henry VIII.
Robbie is also one of the producers of the stage production, adding another project to her growing work behind the scenes in film and theatre.
Her appearance in McQueen at the event combined her fashion presence with her producing role, making it both a style moment and a professional one tied to the West End premiere.
